COOKIE POLICY

Last updated March 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies Teckollab Ltd ('we', 'us', or 'our') places on your device when you visit teckollab.com, and how you can control them. Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). For broader information about how we handle your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owner.

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called third-party cookies.

2. COOKIES WE USE

We use only the following cookies. We do not run advertising networks, retargeting campaigns, or sell your data.

2.1 Strictly Necessary (Functional)

These cookies are essential for the site to function and to remember your privacy preference. Under PECR Regulation 6(1)(b), strictly necessary cookies that are essential to provide a service explicitly requested by the user do not require prior consent.

2.2 Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our site (e.g. pages visited, session duration, referral sources). Under PECR, these are non-essential cookies and are only loaded after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner. The data is processed by Google LLC under our instructions and is not used to identify you personally.

Google's own privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. HOW WE OBTAIN CONSENT

When you first visit teckollab.com, a banner appears at the bottom of the page. Analytics cookies are not loaded until you click Accept. Clicking Decline means only the functional cookie_consent entry is stored so we remember your preference.

Your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key cookie_consent. This is not a cookie — it never leaves your device and is never automatically transmitted to our servers. Under PECR Regulation 6, the storage and access rules apply equally to localStorage; we treat this storage with the same care as cookies.

Our consent mechanism is designed to comply with PECR, UK GDPR, and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, requiring a clear, affirmative action before any non-essential cookies are set. Pre-ticked boxes, implied consent, and consent obtained as a condition of access are not used.

4. MANAGING YOUR PREFERENCES

Withdraw or change consent

You can withdraw or change your analytics consent at any time — withdrawal is as easy as giving consent. Use any of the following methods:

  • Reset preferences directly: Click the link below to clear your stored preference. The cookie consent banner will reappear immediately, allowing you to make a fresh choice. Analytics cookies will not be set until you accept again.
  • Clear site data: Clear your browser's site data for teckollab.com (see browser settings below). The cookie consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
  • Email us: Contact us at privacy@teckollab.com and we will confirm the cookies set on your device and guide you through removal.

Browser settings

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Common paths:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of some websites, though it will not break teckollab.com since we rely only on analytics cookies (which are optional) and localStorage for consent storage.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill) to process emails you send via our contact form. Mandrill does not set cookies on your browser; it only handles email delivery. Mandrill's privacy policy is available at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

We do not use advertising networks, social-media tracking pixels, or any other third-party cookies beyond those listed in Section 2.

6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will reflect any changes. Where changes are material — such as the introduction of new cookie categories — we will re-display the consent banner so you can review and confirm your preferences. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
